Study Abstract
|
We here present the first genome and transcriptome for the cyclopoid copepod Apocyclops royi. We have produced an mRNA transcriptome with cultured animals fed either Dunaliella tertiolecta or Isochrysis galbana. The transcriptome data is assembled using Trinity2.5.1. Further, we have produced a PCRfree WGS genome assembly using SPAdes for assembly. The transcriptome was subsequently used to scaffold the genome assembly using L_RNA_Scaffolder.
