Study Abstract Investigation of the cloud water microbial communities of a cloud event through metagenomics/metatranscriptomics. Cloud water samples (3 samples collected consecutively for 5h periods) were collected by impaction from puy de Dôme Mountain atmospheric Observatory (1465 m asl, France) and immediately filtered and stored in RNA Later. Nucleic acid extracts were amplified by MDA using WGA/WTA single cell kit. The Blank sample consisted in sterile water poored in the sampler before sampling, and processed in parallel to the samples, including sequencing. Sequencing was done on Illumina MiSeq 2*300bp.
