Description A high-throughput sequencing-based approach to identify the DNA methylation patterns present in the genome of several strains from the genus Sinorhizobium (also named Ensifer). These will include wild-type isolates of three species of nodule-forming and nitrogen-fixing species, a wild-type isolate of a non-symbiotic species, as well as lab-generated derivatives of the model organism Sinorhizobium meliloti
