Description The goals of this study are to determine the main redox processes controlling the transformation of organic carbon in contaminated sediments; to investigate competition between nitrate, iron, and sulfate reduction; to identify and track metabolic genes, transcripts, proteins, and metabolites differentially expressed under the varying redox conditions.
