Description Ruminococcus massiliensis strain JC304T sp. nov. is the type strain of R. massiliensis sp. nov., a new species within the Ruminococcus genus. This strain was isolated from the fecal flora of an asymptomatic patient and consist of 3,534,815 bp long genome (1 chromosome but no plasmid) contains 3,144 protein-coding and 55 RNA genes
