Description This strain was isolated using solid Fe as a sole electron donor, which induces iron corrosion under anaerobic conditions at a much faster rate than conventional hydrogen-consuming sulfate reducing bacteria. It can extract electrons from extracellular cathodes via extracellular electron transfer process.
