Description The goal of this work is to develop the knowledge necessary to use understudied anaerobes to enhance lignocellulosic biofuel production. In order to accomplish this we look both to identify lignocellulose active enzyme for use in existing systems as well as develop gut fungi and fungal-methanogen co-cultures as a novel platforms for production.
