Description The goal of this study is to define the role of the microbiome in increasing duckweed biomass and extracting C, N, and P from its environment; to identify the targeted host pathways resulting in plant growth; and to examine how "pre-association" of the growth-promoting strains under controlled conditions impacts microbiome composition and function.
