Description Our work presents the first evidence of successful application of laser microdissection for isolation of single live Chlamydia-infected cells demonstrating that this method can resolve restrictions for fast and effective selection of Chlamydia. We also showed the successful application of whole genome sequencing to study genomic variability of single inclusion derived Chlamydia.
