Project Description
![]() |
To elucidate physiological characteristics of cyanobacteria isolated from extreme environments, we sequenced a whole genome of Microcoleus sp. IPPAS B-353. Especially we have focused on photobiology and signaling pathway of this organism. We expected that it should be helpful for physiological and evolutionary studies of cyanobacteria with related species and also for crop trait improvements.
