Description The goal of this study is to improve genomic coverage of novel terminal carbon mineralization pathways in bogs to generate hypotheses relating to mechanisms of carbon flow; to recover genomes of uncultured methanogen lineages that dominate bogs and fens; and to explore genomic diversity of uncultured lineages of sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB) in fens and bogs.
