Thalassobacter stenotrophicus 1CONIMAR09 is a member of the Roseobacter clade that was isolated without xenobiotic pressure from a pristine coastal-water sample two miles faraway from Puerto Adriano (Mallorca Island, Spain) on March 2009 .
