Project Description
Strain JH1 was isolated from the rumen of Korean native cattle (Hanwoo). The temperature of the rumen is 39 ?C and diet fed to the cattle was roughage to concentrate (40:60). The strain belongs to genus Methanobrevibacter (Archaea), and is a fastidious anaerobe.
