Project Description
The genome of Mycoplasma arginini strain 7264 was sequenced as part of the EVOLMYCO initiative funded by The French National Research Agency (ANR). This project aims to study the evolution of ruminant mycoplasmas with a special focus on horizontal gene transfer. Strain 7264 from M. arginini was isolated in 2007 from the lung of an calf with pneumonia in Orne, France.
