Project Description
These two single-cell amplified genomes (SAGs) were reconstructed from a cells sorted from the brine-seawater interface of Atlantis II Deep (Red Sea). In this brine, the 16S rRNA genes sequences related to these SAGs account for a third of the total bacterial communities. As such, the SAGs were obtained to understand the physiology of these highly abundant organisms that are distantly related to Nitrospina.
